Trailblazer / Envoy Strut Replacement - Part 1. This video demonstrates a FAST and EASY way to remove / replace the struts on a 4x4 Trailblazer or AWD Envoy. There are other videos on youtube that show different methods, but I personally prefer this one. If you use this video as a guide, you will need a Pittman Arm Puller with a gap of at least 1-1/8 inch, and spring compressors. Both can usually be rented locally (Autozone, Advance Auto Parts, etc).
As you will see (Part 2), I went to a local shop to have the struts re-assembled because I stripped the bolt (allen insert). I just bought this 2002 LTZ and it had original (corroded) struts. The Bilstein HDs that I installed are the BOMB!
