Do you need to re-apply liquid metal? ft. Delidded 4790K. Its been almost a year since I delidded my Intel Core i7 4790K and applied liquid metal on it, specifically the Coolaboratory Liquid Ultra. And I just felt that the temperature seemed high when I was trying for a 4.9GHz overclock, so I decided to try and re-apply the liquid metal this time with Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut. Did it help?
