DIY How to replace battery on a smart key fob for a 2010 Toyota Prius
If you approach your Prius and it no longer knows who you are the problem most likely is the battery in the key remote control is dead.
This video will show you how to change out the battery on a fob or smart key for a 3rd Generation 2010 Toyota Prius. It is very simple to do. I went to Walmart and purchased the battery. It's a CR1632. It doesn't require reprogramming and you will not have to go to the dealership. Especially to purchase the battery!
