Accessing Windows \ Network shared drive from Linux Mint using GUI Mode no commands. Step 1 - open Menu and search for Software Manager
Step 2 - search for Gigolo
Step 3 - Click on Install (I have already installed)
Step 4 - Now launch Gigolo
Step 5 - Click on Connect
Step 6 - Select Service type "Windows Share"
Step 7 - Enter your shared device IP address, and click on refresh button
(Shared Drive Name will automatically appear in Share Box if not please check your IP address or check if folder is successfully shared or not)
Note - Enable share on the device before step 7, I have already enabled drive sharing on Windows PC. Share a folder or drive and add user name with full access permission.
If you are using Router Drive then enter router IP Add and privileged USER NAME and PASSWORD.
Step 8 - Enter Domain and Username and hit Connect
(This is my Personal PC therefore I am entering Domain as WORKGROUP if you are using different Domain use it accordingly).
Step 9 - When prompted enter password and click ok
You are all done, once successfully completed you can see drive shortcut on your Linux desktop and also on Gigolo application.
