RuneScape Client: Allocating more RAM to Java (Windows). Joke shows how to allocate more memory to Java for the Client version of Runescape, using Windows 7. See description for more info below!
There will not be a browser tutorial because it looks like the browser ignores the runtime arguments we set in java.
What exactly does this do:
-Increasing the RAM allocated to Java basically allows the game more freedom, which can prevent the client from randomly closing or crashing, as well as smoothening out performance, such as any lag or stutter when spinning the camera angles around.
If allocating 512m isn't enough, you can change this value to 1024m instead.
But make sure you DO NOT add more than 50% of your available ram.
If you have any further questions, feel free to post a comment or contact 'Joke' in game or via the Tech Support forums.
