Install Domain Controller in Windows Server 2012.. Updated on 27th January, 2018.
Why did I run the command "Netsh Interface IPv4 Set Address
"Ethernet 5" Source=DHCP"? Because, this was not a newly
installed server operating system. I used this server operating
system for "Workgroup" and "Domain" environment. If you're
installing ADDS (Active Directory Domain Services) on new server
operating system (freshly installed), then you no need to run this
command, because TCP/IP is set to "Obtain IP Address
Automatically" by default. But you can run rest of the command to
configure TCP/IP. However, if you have knowledge about your
network like, whether DHCP services are running on the network,
then you can go ahead and run this command. But, dynamic IP
Address is not reliable, if DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration
Protocol) is down your server will stop working. Moreover,
"Dynamically Assigned IP Address" is NOT recommended for
"Domain Controllers, Printer Servers, DHCP etc. If you're sure that
there is NO DHCP running, then you can go ahead and run this
command, because the outcome will be APIPA (Automatic Private
IP Addressing) 169.254.X.X. Later you can run the rest
of the commands. Please read this article to configure TCP/IP.

In Windows Server 2012 while installing ADDS (Active Directory
Domain Services) the "Progressing Bar Percentage" is not visible,
to make it visible you've to put mouse-pointer on the "Progressing
Bar". In this video I tried to show it, but it did not show anything. It
does show the percentage when you put mouse-pointer on the
"Progressing Bar".
