Delete Protected Files - Nautilus - Ubuntu 10.04. This video, shows you how to delete protected files in Ubuntu. So when you go to a folder, with a protected file, you cant delete it, cause its sayin, that you ''Are not the owner of this file''. With Nautilus, this problem is fixed. You open a Terminal and type: sudo nautilus - Enter - Yor Password. A folder shows up and you can browse the file and delete it. Easy!
