Dura Vent pellet pro tee cap / plug removal video. There have been some reports of "clean out plug is not removable".
I agree if the "T" is installed on a stove and you are attempting to remove a stubborn plug cap reaching behind the stove and with lousy leverage and a bad angle... it will be most annoying. If you do not have good protective gloves you could also cut your hand while twisting and turning to get it loose.
But if you check the plug prior to installation even the most stubborn one we could find would pop off with this trick. Once popped lose once it was all smooth sailing after that. And it seems to be an excellent air tight seal which is critical on pellet venting.
This video is meant as a helpful hint "prior to installation of your pellet vent system". If we learn of a helpful hint for dealing with this issue after installation is complete, we will share that at a later time...(oil filter wrench maybe?)
